CRADLE MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL | 3-5 APRIL 2020
Cradle Mountain will host a weekend combining film and adventure.
The weekend screens the best adventure films from Tasmania and around the world, and includes a Tasmanian exclusive screening of ‘Mountainfilm on Tour’ and the ‘One Year in Tasmania Adventure Film’ competition. Both screenings will take place at Cradle Mountain Hotel on Saturday 4 April 2020.

Featuring a mix of thought-provoking films the program includes; Bethany Hamilton: Unstoppable (surfing), and the full feature length This Mountain Life (Canadian mountain living and ski touring) along with the European Outdoor Film Tour and Kids’ Films from Mountainfilm

We're screening the judges' shortlist of the top entries in the One Year in Tasmania Adventure Film competition. Check out the breadth of adventures to be had on this cracking island of ours in one year - from 1 March 2019 to 1 March 2020. Join the film makers and the Cradle locals for a fun-filled screening which will include a welcome drink and spot prizes for the audience from our supporters.

A Tasmanian exclusive screening of Mountainfilm on Tour, all the way from Telluride, Colorado. Mountainfilm on Tour shares a selection of films from the annual festival with audiences. This year's 12 short films feature an awesome mix of outdoor adventures with mountain biking, snowboarding in Japan, vanlife and scientific research. Trail lovers are sorted with The Running Pastor, which features incredible footage from the Faroe Islands.
